Great classy atmosphere, old world feel. Intimate seating for couples or groups. Nice food, wine, the occasional acoustic musician. Lovely place to catch up for a coffee or wine!
All I can say is Wow. Had friends from N.Z and the U.K so we decided to go out for a meal and drinks and came across this hidden gem. Not only was our dining experience sensational the trendy drinks menu was equally on par and impressive enough offering a excellent unique trendy selection different from the norm. Love the old Cham oozing character once inside, there is a bar at the front of the building but also make sure you check out the restaurant behind the stairwell. Once inside you can order drinks and just relax. There is also a backpackers upstairs but dont think downstairs is aimed for a backpackers budget. The service is prompt and prices seem fair enough.
A really interesting place with eclectic decor. Cocktails are great but the service is not so good. The food is mainly modern asian, but the portion sizes are generally on the small side. Some dishes were fantastic but some not so good.
Liberte serve the best cocktails and some of the most delicious food that Albany has to offer. The historic building provides a large comfy seating area at the back. Complimented with a social bar at the front where you can grab a coffee or some local beer on tap. Their Crab Noodles & Hemingway Daiquiri are to die for!
Great service, asked the fabulous bar maid to make a inspired beverage, she nailed it. Food was beautiful, great old fashioned. LGBTQIA+ friendly. Decor was on point as was the music. For those with finer tastes or keen for something other than pub food, this is your stop when in Albany!!
