Snobby/rude customer service. Wasn't listened to and when looking at men's hairstyles I was told "Those are men's styles!" As if I couldn't read or see that for myself.They have no understanding of transgender people, so if you're trans, seriously don't bother unless you want to have that ignored (despite telling them every time you go in which was at least 5 times in a year).Basically, might work if you're part of the majority, otherwise they don't seem to care at all. Been going to these guys since they opened, but I've finally had enough.
Didnt do what was asked and very over priced. Got quoted one price then it tripled ,never go there again!
Good and convenient if you want a simple cut but I'd avoid getting a decent colour there. I've given these guys numerous goes and have never been completely satisfied with my colour. Last time I asked them to make thin blonde foils so it would grow out natural looking - I usually get this style elsewhere (and at other salon expresses in the city) and it has always worked for me. I was asked at the end if I was happy with it - but it is a bit hard to tell if a colour is right if they don't completely dry your hair. I went home and found huge stripes on my hairline - totally opposite to what I'd asked for. I called them and they said I'd have to come back when the manager was there - which was at a time when I'd be working. I woke up in the morning and decided it wasn't worth my trouble and let it go but definitely won't be getting a colour again there. Other times I have gone - the tone was completely wrong. I had to spend an hour in purple shampoo when I got home to get it to where it should have been. Another time I asked them to go lighter and stayed the same colour. And then a few years back I went in for a cut and had a lady spent about 10 minutes going through my hair 'tutting' over the state of my split ends - only to find she had a 'fantastic' product she could recommend to help me with them. I love how convenient they are, thats why I keep coming back but can't do it anymore. Would not recommend colour here.
