Breakfast is great, but avoid lunch menu - turkish bread burgers were dry, especially the kids burger and beetroot salad was mostly baby spinach. Too much on the menu offered with chips and chip portioning was underwhelming. Not acceptable for the price of $20-$25 a plate.
Great hidden spot, away from the main road and busy streets. Food was prepared and served swiftly with love. Staff were friendly and respectful. Had the bacon and eggs added extra mushroom and spinach for $20, well worth it. Bread was fresh and perfect!Only negative was I sat outside which was probably my mistake as the flies quickly swarmed once food was served.Nevertheless, Ive found my brekky spot for business trips in Albany. Who needs a hotel with breakfast when you can come here!
Great coffee and cakes, especially the souffra cake. This visit I had the rhubarb cake, which was very tasty, just a bit dry on top. Friendly staff and great service. Is sometimes a bit warm inside and the flies get in when the door isn't closed properly.
Cute little cafe worth finding whilst in Albany. Service is chirpy and fun. Cakes are incredible and the tea range is brilliant.
I cant fault this cafe. Its a real down home cafe in the suburbs. It used to be a grocery shop in the last century. Top food, top coffee. Top staff, popular as. I intend to go back asap. If you have a pup you can sit outside and the cafe provides your pooch with water. The cafe has a southerly aspect so the outdoor seating picks up the warmth of the sun in winter. The food is all made fresh and it feels healthy. The owner or manager... Roger ? Is a true gentleman, impeccably dressed and welcoming. I look forward to going again with friends.
