Chicken and Ribs. The char grilled chicken breast meat was well cooked. The sear marks on the meat simply add to perfection. The rib was absolutely tasty and simply melted in the mouth. The salad was fresh. The baked potato was awesome as it was very soft. Kids will love it. There were no undercooked hard lumps or overcooked burn smell. Despite the wait was about 75 minutes due to the crowd but the food was cooked to perfection. Nothing was compromised. I enjoyed everything on the plate and I would said it was worth the wait.
A very nice and large venue which occupies stunning river views! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the service is spot on. The kids meals are good value, $15 for a choice of splendid meat, a serve of fries and salad, a drink, and a scoop of ice-cream. We also ordered a side of garlic bread, which was oozing with cheese and had an absolutely great garlic and butter taste!Best garlic bread in Western Australia!You may also order your meat cooked to your liking, though I personally recommend to cook beef at medium rare. With adult-sized portions, you are able to order two sides as well.Overall, I loved the flavours of the meat, and I definitely recommend coming here at least once, especially if you are visiting Albany!
Its just ok food, and worse than average service. Had the ribs and beef. The beef was well cooked but still slightly on the tough side. Ribs were cooked well too but lacking flavor. I dont understand why they have no sauce on them. Veges were quite nice though. Kids meals came out cold and at almost the same time as adults meals even though we asked for them to come out first.Service was slow and wait staff didnt seem to have a firm grasp on what was going on.All could be forgiven if it was a cheap pub feed (because thats the level it was at) but the problem is that its not a cheap feed.Basically for the price they charge you expect top notch service and great food, but unfortunately we didnt get either.
Nice , tasty and well presented food in reasonable portions.Variety of food is good Good selection of wine and beer.Large , clean restaurant with a lot of seating for couples and groups.Family friendly Staff were happy , helpful and polite.A bit up there in price for Albany,, but worth it if you can afford to. Just a short walk from the main Street in town. Limited car parking space at the front, however lots of parking across the road.Since new owners have taken over it is now a much better restaurant.I recommend you try this place if in Albany.
Delighted to find a lovely place to eat. Large serves of well cooked meat with your choice of two from vegetables chips, baked potato and salad that's part if the meal. Good value, exceptional friendly service that made for a very enjoyable evening
