Service, and setting fantastic! Food brilliant. I had a Caesar Salad which was the best i have eaten in many years. Looking forward to next visit!!
We sat in the back restaurant area thinking it'd be more quiet than the front bar area - it was still pretty noisey (good for families probably not the place for a romantic dinner) but it was cool being able to see the brewery equipment and into the kitchen (looked pretty clean). We had a short wait of 15 minutes before our meals arrived. My partner and I each had the lunch special ($18 chicken nachos) plus $3 middy of cider. Decent-sized portion of really tasty nachos which we both polished off. The service was great given how busy it was - two waitresses looking after the busy restaurant area so taking orders, serving and clearing. I was happy to see the tables were clean and the water bottles and glasses were as well. Overall, good value for money, good service in a humble pub with an interesting history.
Have been here many times in the past, but hard to rate this place based on my last visit.The food was bland , in small portions and very expensive compared to other nearby venues.It was the size of a small hotdog bun for a crazy$27The staff were not the friendliest.I will never return until changes are made.I can not recommend this place to anyone, try elsewhere if you want tasty food and value for money.
Lovely food and service. Great eating areas with a nice outside area with plenty of tables. Price is reasonable and a good variety of menu options.
It's not a bad place. A bit tough around the edges, but the service and food are awesome and they serve local craft beer. We had a good time. Chicken burger was good but the garlic aioli dominated a bit too much for me.
