Convenient for the beach, large venue with indoor and outdoor seating out front and more secluded area out back. Quick service and willing to ask the chef regarding allergies. Good for lunch and a drink. Average menu, food and prices.Could probably get noisy when busy.
As per Michelin star ratings, 2 stars: worth taking a short detour. World-class seafood paired with world-class local wines with unpretentious service and priceless view. Even great for kids, with an activity pack available and a playground right outside. Adults can actually enjoy a quality adult meal while their children are entertained.
The food is delicious. I recommend the vegan burger. They are great if you have allergies or dietary requirements. It is busy, nevertheless, the atmosphere is nice & kid friendly. Some of the staff can be quite obnoxious and have been consistently. Aside from that, I highly recommend Three Anchors.
Although we had to look for a table by ourselves before we ordered, we were happy with the food quality and drinks. Recommend to visit. The cafe has wonderful location where kids can play and be a hustle free for a while.
Busy pub with a great view of Middleton Beach. Our coffees were good but quite expensive ($5-$5.50 each). We sat at the green lounge chairs with a coffee table and moved to a proper table when one became available. Both tables were quite dirty as were the table water bottles and glasses. When we moved tables one of the waitresses was quick to clear the last customer's dishes and gave the table a quick wipe. She didn't replace the cutlery, napkins, shakers etc that were on all tables so we had to grab these ourselves - not too much of an issue as we could see how busy it was. The service from the waitress at the till to the waitresses clearing and serving was a bit lack-lustre - not rude but also not friendly as you'd hope. My partner ordered the fried chicken burger and I had the cheese burger - both were tasty but the lack of sides was disappointing for $25 meals. The chicken burger came with a paltry serve of chips and the cheese burger came with four onion ring. The portions on the plates at neighbouring tables also seemed light on. Whilst the main part of the dish, coffees and views were good enough, the cleanliness, customer service and portion sizes need improvement.
